We are delighted to announce the details for our first pre season tournament weekend in September. The weekend will consist of six games of hockey between four clubs, men’s and women’s, and we will be hosting a BBQ, quiz, charity auction and family fun day as well as live music.
Kicking us off on Saturday will be Doncaster vs Belper with push back at 1pm, followed by local neighbours Sheffield taking on the Belper side at 3pm. We will then see the Sheffield side take on Doncaster at 5pm before an evening of socialising and fundraising.
Then on Sunday it’s the turn of the ladies with Loughborough University joining us. They will get the day underway against Doncaster at midday followed by Doncaster taking on Sheffield at 2pm. The weekend will then be brought to a close with Loughborough University taking on Sheffield, with push back at 4pm.
We are incredibly excited for what the weekend will bring and we would like to thank Doncaster, Sheffield, Belper and Loughborough University for agreeing to take part.
All games will take place at Doncaster Hockey Club and everyone is welcome to join us for as much of the weekend as they like. There will be plenty happening and we can’t wait to welcome a large crowd for what is sure to be a fantastic event.
